“The Yellow Bus” Mural Dedication

Join ArtWorks, Queen City Book Bank (QCBB), and artist Loren Long to celebrate the completion of The Yellow Bus mural on Thursday, September 12 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Queen City Book Bank, 1200 Gest St.
This new mural in partnership with QCBB illustrates the impactful message from the Yellow Bus, a new children’s book written and illustrated by artist Loren Long. The mural and the Yellow Bus celebrate the joy that awaits at every turn of life’s winding road, and it borrows inspiration from Long’s own life experiences and incredible imagination. Within the mural, viewers can see the cheer that the bus spreads, ultimately encouraging and reminding our community about the many new beginnings life has to offer and the power that comes from selfless acts of service.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Loren Long at the event and learn more his inspiration behind the book and mural.
This event is free and open to the public. Presentation begins at 4pm
