“The Courage to Give” LifeCenter Mural Dedication

Join ArtWorks and LifeCenter Organ Donor Network to celebrate the completion of The Courage to Give mural.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn about the lifesaving and life-changing benefits of organ, tissue, and eye donation. It will also include a screening of a filmed Pones dance performance activating the mural.
Designed by Jeni Jenkins, The Courage to Give celebrates the impact that organ donation has for individuals in the community, borrowing inspiration from depictions of community members and their personal stories. Throughout the mural, viewers can see elements of life, renewal, and the interconnectedness of humanity, ultimately encouraging our community to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
The mural was completed by a team of 12 ArtWorks Apprentices (ages 14–21) led by two Teaching Artists.
Free and open to the public. Presentation begins at 6:30pm.
