ArtDinner
Monday, September 30 at The Standard
Join restaurateurs and historic preservationists Paul Weckman and Emily Palmer Wolff for a gourmet multi-course dinner by Chef Mikey Fabian, featuring seasonal produce from local purveyors, a curated bar & early access to The Red Door Project art auction. Hear from Wolff, artist and ArtWorks Board member, about the art of storytelling through their spaces, including The Standard, which earned the Best Adaptive Reuse Award from Cincinnati Preservation in 2021.
ArtWorks’ CEO + Artistic Director Colleen Houston will lead intimate talks with Guest Artists:
Jen Lewin, renowned contemporary installation artist known around the world for her public, interactive light landscapes. Her newest piece is now on view downtown at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library. Many might remember her installation, The Pool, featured in BLINK 2017’s inaugural festival.
Chase Melendez, nationally acclaimed Cincinnati-based artist, is inspired by early video games, cartoons, and media from his childhood. He is known for his bold, geometric abstract compositions painted on walls, structures, and objects, and is the creator of ArtWorks’ first downtown LED neon mural and multiple murals at The Standard.
