BLINK, Illuminated by ArtsWave, returns to Cincinnati on October 13 for four days. The nation’s largest light, art and projection mapping experience is calling for artists to make the queen city shine. ArtWorks is a proud 2022 BLINK producing partner.
All sectors of the creative industries are invited to investigate what truly is the soul of our Future City – its people, places and essence. Creators from around the world are encouraged to share unexpected stories that will engage, inspire and excite audiences, drawing inspiration from Cincinnati’s iconic architecture, urban landscape and hidden spaces.
Artists in the following disciplines are invited to apply:
- Light-based installations
- Mural paintings
- Projection mapping
- Music

About ArtWorks
ArtWorks is an award-winning Greater Cincinnati nonprofit that transforms people and places through investments in creativity. The organization collaborates with community organizations and residents, businesses, governments, foundations and nonprofits to build creative works of art that bolster the region’s global reputation as an arts destination. ArtWorks employs professional artists who inspire and mentor diverse teams of youth, ages 14-21, helping them build 21st century career-readiness skills. These teams have completed more than 14,000 public and private art projects in its 26 years, including more than 200 permanent outdoor murals.
