Bringing the outside in, apprentices drew on the natural world as inspiration to create more than 100 unique works of fused glass for installation in the new wing of Ronald McDonald House. Three leaves form a canopy structure, suspending glass shapes from the ceiling. The canopy showcases bugs, birds, leaves, trees and flowers found in the rainforest and progresses from day to night with a sun, moon and stars. The glass pieces transform a light-filled area of Ronald McDonald House for families to enjoy.
