The Taft Museum of Art (TMA) belongs to the City of Cincinnati and is everyone’s home----this is the central theme of the Taft Teen Guide. The team was inspired by the fact that the Charles and Anna Phelps Taft left their personal art collection as a gift to the City, and used that concept to create a guide that would be inviting and welcoming, introducing the TMA’s collection to Cincinnati teens. Each Apprentice drew inspiration from a different piece of work, and re-interpreted it through creative writing and graphic design. All users get to take home a piece of the TMA and their very own Taft House! The final guide features a “Create your own Taft” activity, where museum-goers can create their own pop-up Taft Museum of Art from inside the guide.
