Murals Our City is a gallery. That’s the premise behind ArtWorks' award-winning public art employment program. ArtWorks employs teen (14 – 21 years old) and professional artists to work side-by-side with communities to transform our region. Since the program began in 2007, ArtWorks has painted 57 murals in 32 neighborhoods in Cincinnati and in 6 nearby cities. Your neighborhood can be next! If you live in the Greater Cincinnati area, you can request a mural! Here’s how: Download this form. If you find a great mural wall, submit the Round One mural request by September 15, 2013 to be considered for a mural in 2014. Please read the Mural Partner Responsibilities to understand what a mural partnership involves and to ensure you are committed to partnering with ArtWorks before submitting a mural request. ArtWorks will produce murals based on the availability of funds. ArtWorks will select mural requests demonstrating strong partnerships in committed neighborhoods. If ArtWorks is unable to partner with you in 2014, your application will remain on file for consideration for future partnerships. Submit mural requests by mail, e-mail or in person to: Questions?
