Eden Park Bus Shelter
A project of the 2001 and 2002 ArtWorks Summer Program
- Located at the foot of the Cincinnati Art Museum across from Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park - Mt. Adams.
ArtWorks Apprentices worked with professional artists and architects to completely revamp and redesign the Eden Park bus shelter over the course of this two-summer project. In 2001, the team designed and created a Cincinnati-themed mosaic on the floor of the shelter. In 2002, the project was completed with the enhancement of the shelter's seating, the creation of wrought iron planters and a newly painted roof. The end result is a bit of Gaudi in Cincinnati.
